Space Race

The game is a race to travel from a remote Space Station to the Earth. There are 5 tracks, each with different number of stops. Each player moves in a track. The player throws two dice at a time. They can advance only if they can obtain the number on the next stop using operations like +, -, x, ÷ on the numbers obtained y throw of the dice. Players take turns to play and move in their respective tracts. One who reaches the Earth first wins!

River Bridge Game

It is natural for children to love imaginary stories. This game is based on one such -

"An abducted princes is kept prisoner in a far away palace and you must reach there crossing mountains, rivers and deep valleys."

2-3 players can play this game. You start by choosing a colour and take 10 shells. To play, use two black coloured 1-6 dice. Using the numbers obtained on the dice and any one mathematical operation (+, -, x, ÷) form a new number and place a shell on that. In this manner you have to build a bridge of your shells from the start to the palace. For further rules and to know how to use 'special power' dice see the manual.

In both the games since every move involves a mathematical operation the children do a large number of mental sums during each game.
